Terms & Conditions

  1. Payment – A deposit of 150 Euros per person is required to secure your booking. A receipt and confirmation of your booking will be sent to you by e-mail when we receive your deposit. The final balance is due for settlement 4 weeks prior to your stay. Balances for the accommodation can be paid for by either: internet bank transfer (in Euros or Sterling) or Euro cash on arrival. Balances for any additional are payable in Euro cash only.
  2. Prices РOnce a booking has been confirmed, the price of your reservation is guaranteed and will not be subject to any alterations.
  3. Your Contract – A binding contract between us comes into existence when we send our receipt and confirmation. Please check the confirmation as soon as you receive it and raise any queries immediately.
  4. Cancellations РCancellations must be received in writing. Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 30 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 14 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in. If Le Pistoulet Cycling has to cancel your booking, the deposit paid will be refunded in full.
  5. Checking In – Your accommodation will not be available until 4pm on the first day of your visit and you must leave the accommodation and property of the owners by 11am on your last day of visit unless authorisation has been given by the owners Matthew or Rebecca Thatcher. Latest check-in time is 8 pm or 20h00.
  6. Special needs – Any special needs, such as dietary requirements should be clearly noted on the booking request.
  7. Smoking – For the safety and comfort of our guests we operate a strict “no smoking” policy within the house.
  8. Shoes – We kindly ask that our guests respect our “no shoe” house policy and that they remove outdoor shoes when entering our home. This is for health and hygiene and helps to keep the rooms clean and comfortable for everyone. We would like everyone to feel comfortable, so please feel free to bring slippers to wear inside our house if you prefer.
  9. Transport – Transport provided by us need to be confirmed by us with reasonable notice. We reserve the right to decline requests for transport or airport transfers. Before transportation we will advise you of the cost and require payment before completion of your stay. We will not be responsible for damage or theft to any of your belongings during these services.
  10. Damage – Any damage or loss to our property or other guests caused by you or any member of your party must be paid for in full immediately. We expect all guests to have consideration for other people.
  11. Liability – We accept no liability for the death of, or personal injury to, any persons during their visit, nor for any loss or damage resulting therefrom unless caused by the proven negligence of ourselves. Neither do we accept any responsibility for strikes, war, sickness, acts of God etc. over which we have no control.
  12. Insurance – You are advised to take out appropriate travel insurance for your needs. We strongly advise all customers to protect themselves by taking out a fully comprehensive travel insurance. Under the terms of this booking you are required to have suitable travel insurance giving cover that must include the costs of medical treatment and repatriation in the event of a serious accident or illness. Le Pistoulet Cycling accepts no liability for any loss or injury that may occur during your trip. We strongly advise that helmets should be worn at all times when cycling.
  13. Complaints – In the unlikely event that you have grounds to complain, you must notify a representative of Le Pistoulet Cycling immediately and we will try to resolve the issue. If you are not satisfied with our response, please write to us with full details of your complaint within one calendar month of the end of your holiday. We will respond within one month of receipt thereof. Le Pistoulet Cycling is based in France. Any disputes will be settled under French Laws.
  14. Website – All information published on our website is presumed to be correct; we do however reserve the right to alter information without notice.
  15. Passports & visas – As a visitor to France you are required to hold a current passport. Should you be travelling from outside the EU, you should check whether you may also require a visa.
